How To Catch Trout

How To Catch Trout

EQUIPMENT
1. 7' MEDIUM ACTION ROD
2. SPINNING REEL WITH 8-10 # TEST MONOFILAMENT
3. 2 1/2 - 3 FT. OF 20# TEST MONOFILAMENT LEADER TIED DIRECTLY TO YOUR 8-20#
TEST LINE USING A SURGEON'S OR UNI TO UNI KNOT.
AREAS TO FISH
1. ALWAYS LOOK FOR GRASSY AREAS WITH WHITE SANDY POTHOLES.
2. WATER DEPTH SHOULD BE FROM 4-6 FT. DEEP
3. DURING THE WINTER TIME, YOU SHOULD FISH THE EDGES OF THE SAND BARS
ADJACENT TO THESE GRASS FLATS BECAUSE THE TROUT LIE IN THE MUDDY
BOTTOM WHERE IT IS WARMER.

LIVE BAIT
1. LIVE SHRIMP: HOOK THE SHRIMP UNDER THE "HORN" WITH A 2/0 HOOK. USE A
POPPING CORK 2 1/2 TO 3 FEET FROM YOUR HOOK. YOU SHOULD ADJUST THE CORK
DEPENDING ON THE DEPTH OF THE WATER.

2. WHITE BAIT: (SCALED SARDINE ) USING A 2/0 HOOK, HOOK YOUR WHITE BAIT
UNDER THE PECTORAL FIN USING A FLOATING CORK APPROXIMATELY 2 1/2 - 3 FT.
FROM YOUR HOOK.

3. CAST YOUR BAIT AND WAIT FOR THE BOBBER TO GO UNDER. DO NOT SET THE
HOOK UNTIL YOU FEEL THE FISH PULLING THE LINE UNDER THE SURFACE. THEN
GIVE IT A SLIGHT TWITCH. REMEMBER, TROUT HAVE A VERY SOFT MOUTH. IF YOU
YANK TOO HARD IT WILL JUST RIP THE HOOK RIGHT OUT OF THEIR MOUTHS.
ARTIFICIAL BAITS

HARD PLASTICS
1. SOME OF THESE LURES HAVE LITTLE PROPELLERS ON THE FRONT, THE BACK OR
BOTH FRONT AND BACK. THESE PROPELLERS MAKE A NOISE THAT ATTRACTS THE
FISH TO YOUR LURE. THEY THINK IT'S A WHITE BAIT THAT IS INJURED.
2. THE BEST TIME TO USE THESE HARD PLASTIC LURES IS IN THE EARLY MORNINGS
OR LATE AFTERNOONS .
3. TIE YOUR LURE ON A 2 1/2 -3 FT OF 20# TEST MONO LEADER USING THE IMPROVED
CLINCH KNOT ( LOOK AT THE KNOT SECTION ) ( THE IMPROVED CLINCH KNOT LETS
THE LURE MOVE EASIER AND MORE REALISTIC WHEN TWITCHING IT.)
4. CAST THE LURE AND WORK IT WITH A SLIGHT TWITCH. DO NOT SET THE HOOK
UNTIL YOU FEEL THE FISH SWIMMING WITH YOUR LURE. THEN AND ONLY THEN
WILL YOU SET THE HOOK.( NOTHING AGAINST BASS FISHERMEN). JUST GIVE IT A
SLITCH TWITCH. THE HOOKS ON THE LURE WILL DO THE REST. DO NOT SET THE
HOOK LIKE YOU SEE ON T.V.
5. IF THE FISH HITS THE LURE AND MISSES THE HOOKS, DON'T JUST WIND IT IN. LET
IT SIT THERE FOR A FEW SECONDS AND MORE THAN LIKELY THE FISH WILL COME
BACK AFTER IT.
SOFT PLASTICS
SOFT PLASTIC LURES ARE THE EASIEST LURES TO USE FOR TROUT BECAUSE THEY
RESEMBLE A SHRIMP GOING THRU THE GRASS.
1. USE A 1/8 OUNCE LEAD JIG HEAD ON A PLASTIC TAIL THAT IS 4-6 INCHES LONG.
2. THE BEST COLORS SEEM TO BE ROOTBEER, RED, GOLD OR SILVER. BUT TRY OUT
DIFFERENT OTHER COLORS IN YOUR AREA.
3. SOMETIMES YOU MAY WANT TO USE A POPPING CORK ( AS PICTURED ). AGAIN THE
CORK IS APPROXIMATELY 2 1/2 - 3 FT. FROM THE LURE.
4. CAST THE LURE AND RETRIEVE IT WITH A POPPING MOTION. THE CORK MAKES A
SPLASHING SOUND WHICH THE TROUT CAN HEAR FROM VERY LONG DISTANCES.
WHEN THE TROUT INVESTIGATES THE SOUNDS, IT SEES THIS SOFT PLASTIC LURE
GOING UP AND DOWN ABOVE THE GRASS RESEMBLING A FLEEING SHRIMP.
5. MOST OF THE TIME THE TROUT WILL HIT THE LURE JUST AFTER YOU HAVE
TWITCHED IT AND IT IS FALLING. WHEN YOU GET READY TO TWITCH IT AGAIN,
THEN YOU WILL NOTICE THE TROUT HAS ALREADY TAKEN YOUR BAIT. YOU HAVE
ALREADY SET THE HOOK SO DON'T GET CARRIED AWAY WITH YANKING THE HOOK
OUT OF IT'S MOUTH
6. DURING THE WINTER, DO NOT USE THE POPPING CORK. LET THE LURE RUN ALONG
THE WARM MUDDY BOTTOM. REMBER WORK THE LURE SLOWER BECAUSE THE
FISH'S METABOLISM IS A LOT SLOWER THIS TIME OF YEAR.

SPOONS

1. TRY USING EITHER A 1/4 OUNCE SILVER SPOON OR GOLD SPOON FOR TROUT.
2. JUST CAST THE SPOON AND REEL IT JUST ABOVE THE GRASS.

Hydrogen the new Era

The reason I decided to writer about this subject is because of the environment, the ecology, and global warming. while the government is enriching themselves they are also destroying the environment,
This concept has been around for over 100 years and it is has not been put to work we have the technology to develop hydrogen and the power to save our planet yet we are completing destroying the world. what can we do to save it well is right in front of our hands. AND IS CALL WATER. Brown's gas is basically water broken down to its core elements of hydrogen and oxygen.

The structure is actually HH0, meaning two hydrogen atoms bonded together in the
presence of an oxygen atom.

cleaner and produce less
harm-full emissions into the environment.

Also called Brown gas. Brown's gas burns wonderfully and contains tons of energy nearly three times that of
gasoline.

Leo Horoscope

Leo

July 23 August 22

THE BRIGHT SIDE: This aspect of Leo is very bright indeed, for this is a personality very much attuned to the vital life giving qualities of the Sun.

Flamboyant
The typical Leo personality is flamboyant and generous with tremendous charm and magnanimity of spirit, which draws people close. The fix quality of the sign, meanwhile, helps to restrain the fire element's tendency to over exuberance. Leos are also loyal, full of self-assurance and hard working, being excellent organizers (as long they are the BOSS). Leo's ability to ply hard and they value placed on pleasure makes for an excellent companion.

THE DARKSIDE: This aspect of the Leo personality usually emerges when Leo is being ignored, which may result in sulking, or when inferior mortals challenge the devine right rules. Leos can be very self opinionated and consequently bombastic and overbearing. One of Leo's most characteristics traits is pride, and there is s tendency, too, toward pomposity and snobbery. .

Touchy It can be difficult to spot when Leo is hurt ( and this sign is surprisingly touchy very touchy better yet):
But the sudden drop in temperature as Leo retreats back into regal dignity provides a clue. In long term disagreement, Leo can also prove to be something of a formidable enemy so watch out don't get them PO.

KING
Leos are warm, sunny and outgoing but just love to be adored and looked up to. Those who fail to recognize a Leo's innate need to be superior may find themselves on the receiving and of a right royal snub, or the victim of typical aristocratic wrath.

Sun Signs
FOR LOVERS
Expansive, generous and caring, Leos revel in love affairs and all things romantic. They are passionate and demonstrative, and like nothing than spoiling their love ones.

Emotions
Happiness knows no bounds for Leos in love. Their big hearts and warm emotions really come into their own when they fall for someone. Then their leonine personalities emerge.
Because they value love above all else. Leos are naturally faithful, and very loyal. But they can sometimes almost over-whelm their partners with adoration. They invest all their emotions in their love affairs; but if things go wrong, they come down to earth with a bump. Once a Leo heart is broken, it takes a long time to mend. Problems can arise if a Leon forgets that he or she is one half of a partnership, and begins to act in the roll of BOSS. Although outwardly they seem to be bursting with self assurance and confidence, and often revel in being the center of attention, underneath they showy their exterior Leos can be very sensitive, but usually they hate to admit it. Their fiery feelings and expensive emotions have to find an outlet and they yearn to express their inter-most thoughts to their partners. However, they almost expect an equally heartfelt sentiment to be return by the loved ones.

FULL OF PASSION
Leos spare no expense when courting a new love. They are very demonstrative and loyal,
and are almost continually in the throes of passion, remaining very faithful. They only lose their sparkle when love begins to fade.

LEOS BODY
Radiant and energetic, Leos bring so much light into other people's lives that they can be blind to the needs of their own, especially where health is concerned. Their need to be appreciated drives them on the endless feats of achievement; and because they have so much natural vitality, they refuse to ease up.

Vitality
While some will approach middle life with more energy that those half their age, Leos will have to come to terms with their own mortality sooner or laterif not, the rich foods and wines they find irresistible will be their undoing.

Excesses
Leo rules the back and the hearths and it is these two areas that are most vulnerable to Leonine excesses. Exercise and obvious remedies for and expanding wasteline. Leos go on until they drop, so usually holidays away will recharge those exhausted batteries. There is no unhappier sight than unadmired or loved Leo. This can cause tremendous depression and may bring an enormous amount of nagging back trouble less as assign of lack of emotional support they so greatly need.
Back problems can be added to if Leo becomes overweight; a daily brisk wall will tone up the whole body, keeping the muscles in the back supple so they are mo able to take the strain.

BACK COMPLAINTS
Leos have an enthusiasm which will lead them to put their back out for anybody, except themselves they do not like to be reminded that they are made of all too brittle bones, and will often mean about a bad back while doing very little about it.
